How boutiques and independent shops use this business card

Boutiques and independent shops hand cards to shoppers at the counter, at local events and in person, and it's often the first thing a new contact keeps. Keep the front for your name and contact details and use the back for one message, such as a percentage off for newsletter sign-ups.

Tie each promotion to a date range so it creates a reason to visit this week. Fewer, larger words read better on a card than a full list of services.

What to put on it

  • Your name, role and business name
  • Phone, email and website (or a QR code to your booking page)
  • Local makers or brands you carry
  • One short line on what you do
