A sign does the talking when no one's free to: café and coffee shop owners use them at the counter, by the register and on the pastry case to point regulars to a loyalty stamp card or a morning combo. Edit it free online, then download or print it.

How café and coffee shop owners use this sign

Use signs for opening hours, directions, offers and rules. A sign is read from a distance, often while walking, so it needs very few words in very large type. Worth including: where your beans come from.

Put milk alternatives and syrup prices in one small box so the drinks list stays short. Test it: step back the distance people will read it from and check the main line is still clear.

What to put on it

  • A headline that can be read from across the room
  • A loyalty stamp card or a morning combo
  • An arrow, date or time if it helps
  • Your logo, small
