How art and music teachers use this class newsletter

Send it home weekly or monthly, on paper or as a PDF in your class app. A short, regular newsletter gets read more than a long one now and then. Art and music teachers working on techniques, vocabulary and project briefs can change every word to match the unit.

Show an example of the finished piece; it sets expectations faster than instructions. Keep the same layout each time so families know where to look.

What to put on it

  • What we're learning
  • Dates to remember
  • How families can help at home
  • Your contact details

Sizes and printing

This template comes in one size: Class newsletter (8.5 × 11 in). Copy paper is fine; send a PDF too for families who prefer digital.
