How restaurant owners and managers use this gift certificate

Sell them at the counter or online, give them as prizes for local raffles, or use them to say sorry. Each certificate is a promise, so record what you sell. Worth including: your best review line or years in the neighbourhood.

Put your opening hours and how to order (dine in, takeout or delivery) on everything you print; they are the first questions new guests have. Check your state's rules on gift certificate expiry before adding an expiry date.

What to put on it

  • Amount or service
  • Recipient and sender names
  • A certificate number
  • Expiry date and terms, if any

Sizes and paper
