How hair salons and spas use this sign

Use signs for opening hours, directions, offers and rules. A sign is read from a distance, often while walking, so it needs very few words in very large type. Worth including: your stylists' experience and the brands you use.

Use 'from' prices for services that depend on hair length, and say so once at the top. Test it: step back the distance people will read it from and check the main line is still clear.

What to put on it

  • A headline that can be read from across the room
  • A first-visit discount or a refer-a-friend reward
  • An arrow, date or time if it helps
  • Your logo, small
