What a good answer key includes
- The same numbering as the student page, so you can mark down the page quickly.
- One clear answer per question, plus acceptable alternatives where there's more than one right answer.
- For maths, the working or key step, not only the final number, so you can spot where a student went wrong.
- For written answers, what a full-mark answer must mention (two reasons, one quote) rather than a single model sentence.
